Miss Suwanee Sweetheart

Ansley Fields is Miss Suwanee’s Sweetheart, a title reserved for the highest Relay for Life fundraiser of the pageant. Ansley raised the most Relay donations of any individual pageant contestant in the history of Miss Suwanee. She has a big heart for service and is so excited to announce a very special community wide project – Suwanee’s Big Thank You. The City of Suwanee and Miss Suwanee invite you to join in supporting our troops overseas with a handwritten letter of thanks.

The letters will be a part of radio station Q100’s Big Thank You which collects over 250,000 letters each year to ensure every service man and woman serving overseas receives a word of thanks from home on Thanksgiving Day. The goal is to make a big contribution from the community of Suwanee. People are welcome to bring a pre-written letter or have fun creating one at the Miss Suwanee booth in the kid’s area of Suwanee Fest on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th. The City of Suwanee will provide everything needed to create a heartfelt letter to those who will not be with their families for Thanksgiving. Stop by and join the fun on Suwanee Fest Saturday in Town Center Park to be a part of Suwanee’s Big Thank You!

Here are the letter guidelines for Suwanee’s Big Thank You for anyone that wants to bring a letter to our booth that has already been written:

Miss Suwanee is a jeans and white t-shirt Relay for Life benefit pageant with competitions in all age groups from ages 4 to 94, and is the only system in Georgia to offer Mother/Daughter, Father/Daughter, Buddy/Buddy, and a Mister title. All proceeds go to American Cancer Society. In the last seven years, Miss Suwanee has raised over $71,000 and titleholders have worked over 10,956 service hours in the Suwanee community. Miss Suwanee is part of the number one Relay for Life team in the world. In addition to supporting our great city of Suwanee during community events, titleholders also support Annandale Village, Special Olympics, Toys for Tots, Operation Christmas Child, and many more. Many titleholders have been honored by the White House with the prestigious Presidential Service Award for service in the community and are invited to meet the Governor every year.
