The bright colors, distinctive designs, and hand-made quality of African fabrics are truly extraordinary and rich with cultural meaning. But there is more to know about African fabrics and why they are significant. Each color represents a different occasion, status, or emotion.
Join Elizabeth Thomas, founder of Kisanii-Liz Ankara Textiles, and learn the history of African fabrics and how they can enhance your home and wardrobe. This event takes place on Sunday, February 24 at 3:00 pm at the Gwinnett County Public Library – Lawrenceville Branch, 1001 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. It is free and open to the public.
