The abuse of alcohol and drugs has resulted in significant morbidity and mortality among adolescents worldwide. Many of these youth will lose their lives to drugs and alcohol and a significant number are likely to grow up to become problem drug users. Drug use is preventable and addiction can be treated.
Join Gwinnett Library and a Gwinnett County Crime Prevention Officer to become more aware of the impact of drug use on individuals, families, and communities and receive information about local contacts and programs.
This information session will take place on Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 pm at the Lawrenceville Branch, 1001 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. It is free and open to the public.
