Local Elementary School Student Publishes Book

Mark C. Sanders is a 9-year-old elementary school student who lives in Buford. He is an honor roll student who loves math, writing, science and spending time with his family. Mark is also an avid sports fan who dreams of playing Major League Baseball and becoming a sports agent. He also loves cheering on Braves player Ronald Acuna Jr., who is his favorite athlete. Mark may sound like your typical kid, but he recently did an extraordinary thing: He wrote and published his first book!

Mark’s book, Knocking Greatness Out of the Park, is a children’s book written to inspire and motivate readers to dream big, set goals and make it happen! According to the book’s synopsis, the main character Ace “is an average active young boy who enjoys playing sports. He is developing a love for the game of baseball. How will he make his dreams come true? This enjoyable read will help young readers discover they have what it takes to achieve greatness. This book is based on a true story and characteristics needed to achieve greatness.” Knocking Greatness Out of the Park is published by Sanders Publishing LLC and was released on Amazon on January 11, 2021.
