Suwanee Academy of the Arts’ Gingerbread Festival

Suwanee Academy of the Arts Gingerbread Festival

Suwanee Academy of the Arts’ annual Christmas tradition – the Gingerbread Festival – is back in 2017. First held in December 2007, Patty Etherton & Berneta Davis conceived this event to serve as a living, breathing Christmas card to their community. This festival is a weeklong celebration where the community is invited to participate in the Gingerbread House contest, enjoy performances by the talented young singers and dancers of Suwanee Performing Arts’ Sounds of Suwanee and Suwanee Ballet, and delight youngsters with an interactive telling of The Nutcracker by Ms. Bernie in an intimate tea party atmosphere. The 2017 Gingerbread Festival will begin Friday, December 1st, beginning with The Actors Company’s holiday improv performance of a “TAC-ky Christmas Sweater Extravaganza.”
