GREATER ATLANTA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
A JOYFUL, ENERGIZING PLACE TO LEARN, GROW, AND PLAY
Greater Atlanta Christian School (GAC) welcomes infants (six weeks) through age three (turning 4). Students then move to their Early Childhood Village – an enchanting town-like setting for students in kindergarten. After starting in these vibrant environments, many families continue to make GAC their academic home through high school graduation. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia “learn through play approach,” their Young Learners program encourages children to take an active role in learning. They solidify the essentials – letters, numbers, shapes, and colors – infusing music and creative movement. They value respect and collaboration, so children develop their innate gifts while building kind and loving friendships with classmates. Students benefit from enriching one-on-one instruction tailored to each child’s proficiency and readiness. They explore themes through a variety of sensory approaches that are both enriching and developmentally appropriate. Child development specialists, licensed classroom teachers, and experienced childcare professionals work in concert to attend to their youngest students’ needs, creating a safe environment where children are known and loved. These educators establish an academic foundation that fully prepares students to continue their studies at GAC.For additional details: GreaterAtlantaChristian.org; click Academics, then the Young Learners tab.
