After a two-year hiatus, the Suwanee Arts Festival is returning to Suwanee Town Center Park as a two-day event celebrating all things art! The event will take place May 14-15 and is being presented by the Suwanee Arts Center. Festival attendees can stroll from tent to tent viewing vibrant displays by local artists presented in a variety of mediums, including painting, ceramics, photography, sculpture, wood, jewelry, glass, fiber and more. This family friendly event has something for everyone. Kids can attend the Animation Academy, book readings, show their artistic skills in the Chalk Walk, and participate in a scavenger hunt to win a prize! On the Town Center Stage, artist demonstrations and musical entertainment will bring art and music to life with performances all through the event. Food trucks, snack vendors, and local businesses will be offering food and beverages to purchase. The Arts Festival will also serve as the official unveiling of the City of Suwanee’s seventh SculpTour exhibit. SculpTour is the City of Suwanee’s recurring temporary sculpture exhibition. The public art encounter has brought nearly 100 sculptures to a walkable one-mile area of downtown Suwanee since 2011. With goals to enliven Town Center, attract visitors, and stimulate interest in Suwanee’s public art program, SculpTour adds to the sense of dynamism, energy, rhythm, and ritual in the city.

Suwanee Arts Festival takes place at Town Center Park on Saturday, May 14, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, May 15, noon-5 p.m. For more information visit SuwaneeArtsCenter.org/SuwaneeArtsFest.
