With Cooler Weather on the Way…Bring on Autumn

School is in session and before you know it there will be a nip of cooler weather in the air. As we welcome a change in temperature, perhaps it’s time to make some changes in the décor around your home. To set the mood for the new season, spice up your home with a fabulous fall scent by Thymes in aromas such as Brandied Pumpkin and Chestnut or Bitter Orange and Cedar available in candles, potpourri, and Reed Diffuser sets. Also, try a fall wreath and light up grapevine pumpkins to greet you and your guests at the front door.

What’s scarier than how time flies…Halloween!
And it’s right around the corner. If you’re looking for some fun and scary ideas to decorate your home for the holiday, Halloween decorations are already in full swing! From creepy motion activated props to witches hats that light up, all are a great addition to your mantle or front door. “Boo” buckets are a fun holiday trend with all the great items to go in it. And no boo basket is complete without Nam’s Bits (those delicious cookies made in nearby Cumming, GA) or an acrylic LED Jack-O-Lantern insulated cup that are great to personalize with vinyl. Or better yet, design your own acrylic cup with Coton Colors Stick Ems. The possibilities are endless…

Bring on some football – And it’s not just about the game
It’s game day and the time leading up to the kickoff is just as important. I’m talking about…Tailgating! Once that perfect parking spot is found, it’s time to start some serious socializing, food, and fun. Sports fans can show their team spirit in style with the newest products and latest trends such as the perfect outfit for game day.

Chevron pattern is HUGE this season, and so is collegiate and high school colored game day dresses. Add accessories and scarves to make your game day wardrobe complete including a crossbody purse that can be monogrammed.

Show team spirit with tumblers, totes and coolers that can be personalized as well.
Perhaps tailgating is the perfect time to lift those red solo cups, so lift it in style with an acrylic red solo cup or a plastic red solo cup on a candlestick, personalized and embellished with vinyl with your name or favorite team. Choose your font, size, color and design.

And no tailgating party is complete without food. Start your fare with Wind and Willow, Gourmet Village and Country Home Creations dips which are easy to prepare. To keep cool dips cool, try crocks, and to serve hot dips hot, try baking your dip in a ramekin. Want chili for game day? Best Ever Beer Chili Mix is simple and delicious. And for dessert, try mixes such as Butter Me up Cream Cheese Chewies and Chocolate Espresso Cream Cheese Chewies.

  1. La Ti Da is probably my all time favorite place to shop in Suwanee. They have the cutest items for all seasons. And their monogram machines always do the best job.
