Suwanee Performing Arts annual Gingerbread Festival is a celebration of the holidays told through the arts.
Suwanee Performing Arts is once again hosting their beloved Gingerbread Festival, a celebration of the holidays with events that are fun for both the youngsters and the whole family. During the celebration, the community is invited to participate in the annual gingerbread house contest, enjoy performances by the talented young singers and dancers of Suwanee Performing Arts and Suwanee Ballet, and witness an interactive telling of The Nutcracker by Ms. Bernie in an intimate tea party atmosphere.

Gingerbread House Contest

Who is ready to get into the baking spirit? Suwanee Performing Arts is hosting its annual Gingerbread House Contest! This year’s theme will be “Home Sweet Home,” so get ready to channel your inner architect and help spread holiday cheer. Bring your entry to Suwanee Academy of the Arts between November 28 and December 3 by 11 a.m. Prizes will be given!
Tacky Christmas Sweater Improv Show

Need a laugh? Get ready for a fun-filled evening in which Suwanee Performing Arts’ The Actor’s Company presents the Tacky Christmas Sweater Improv Show! Join them on Saturday, December 3, at 7 p.m. at Suwanee Academy of the Arts for a side-splitting improv show highlighting the fun side of Christmas.
Nutcracker Tea Party
December 3-4 at 3 p.m.
Suwanee Performing Arts’ Nutcracker Tea Party is the perfect event for children of all ages. Imagine the enchanting tale of The Nutcracker brought to life through magical storytelling and delightful dancing by Suwanee Ballet. Your kiddo will remember this magical tea party for years to come. Tea parties will take place at 3 p.m. on both Saturday, December 3, and Sunday, December 4.
