Hussman Corporation held a ribbon cutting on February 13 at its Suwanee production facility. The event was attended by Gwinnett County executives. As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of refrigerated merchandisers and refrigeration systems, Hussmann is leading the way in new Low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant technologies. The ceremony celebrated its state- of-the-art engineering lab that is capable of testing refrigeration systems at extreme temperature conditions and demonstrates Hussmann’s commitment to more sustainable and more environmentally friendly refrigerants including R-744 (CO2) and R-290 (propane). The Suwanee facility employs more than 300 employees and celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this year.
