Now is the perfect time to prep for the summer days ahead, when the kids are home from school and in need of enriching activities to keep them active and engaged. That’s why we always dedicate space in our spring issue to spotlighting a variety of summer camps that specialize in science, coding, sports, the arts, and more! Join us in exploring the many local summer camps (and some only a short drive away) that will guarantee a summer filled with fun, learning, and growth!

Barbie Camp: June 10-14 Bring your favorite Barbie doll and join Sugarloaf Performing Arts for a wonderful week filled with dance and creative movement! This camp experience will be filled with dance classes, crafts, videos, snacks and more activities your dancer is sure to enjoy! Ages: 3-7 (Pre-Ballet Levels 1-3). Full Day: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (Dancers are required to bring lunch.) | $260. Half Day: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | $145.

Camp Moana: July 8-12 Dive into a magical week in the world of Moana through dance and creative movement! This camp experience will be filled with dance classes, crafts, videos, snacks and more activities your dancer is sure to enjoy! Ages: 3-7 (Pre-Ballet Levels 1-3). Full Day: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (Dancers are required to bring lunch.) | $260. Half Day: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | $145.

Mini Dance Intensive: June 10-14 or July 8-12 Ballet, Modern, and Jazz techniques are the focus of this exciting camp for our young, but serious dancers. With so many things to learn and explore your dancer will leave each day excited for more. Ages: 7-10 (Rising Pre-Ballet 3A, Current Ballet 1, and Current Ballet 1A). Time: 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (no lunch needed) Cost: 1 Week – $245.00, 2 Weeks-$410.00.

Ultimate Dance Camp: June 10-14 Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Hip-Hop techniques are the focus of this enriching camp for beginning-level students. With various dance styles to explore, each day will show your student a new aspect of the wonderful world of dance. Great for students with little to no previous dance training! Ages: 11 & up. 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (no lunch needed) | $245.

MiniTumbleCamp: July 8–11 & July 15-18 Tumbling, strength building, conditioning, jumps, acrobatics, and stretching. Feeling stronger yet? Increase your stamina and build your strength. Mr. Howard, their tumble instructor, has over 25 years of experience coaching elite-level gymnasts, dancers, and cheerleaders. Ages: 5 & up. Beginning (Ages 5-7) 5:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. | $110. Beginning (Ages 8+) 6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. | $145. Intermediate/Advanced 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.| $145

5 Week Summer Intensives: Sugarloaf Performing Arts offers a five-week evening class schedule. This abbreviation of their fall schedule is an ideal opportunity for beginning and intermediate dancers, as well as exploration of new dance styles. They also encourage those new to our studio to come dance with them!

Bodacious Burger Camp: June 10-14

Where campers will accept the challenge to be Bold, Brave and Bodacious as they explore their hidden potential through singing, dancing, acting, games, and some special sauce!
