Glow in the Park
Glow in the Park is one of Suwanee’s most beloved events. The annual lantern parade features a glowing sea of kids and adults marching through Suwanee decked out in illuminated costumes and handmade lanterns led by a strolling jazz band. It’s family- friendly fun with food, games and activities for all ages. This year’s parade ends with a live concert by ’80s band Electric Avenue at the Town Center Park stage. April 18 at dusk. Burgers at Craft Burger
I recently visited one of Suwanee’s newest restaurants, Craft Burger, to see if the hamburgers live up to the hype. Good news: I tried their basic craft burger with a side of fries and it was delicious! The burger was made with high-quality beef and had scrumptious flavor. Poke Bowls at Sweet Octopus

Photos at the “Love, Suwanee” Sculpture
Town Center is home to many things — great restaurants, shops and fun events — but one of the things I love most is the abundance of public artwork throughout the park. My favorite piece has to be the big “Love, Suwanee” sculpture. The large red letters spelling out LOVE are part of the 2020-2021 Suwanee SculpTour and create the perfect photo opportunity on a beautiful day. I recently took my daughter to the park and she climbed up to sit in the “o” in the sculpture. I snapped a quick pic and now it’s one of my favorite photos. — Alicia Carter, Managing Editor
