Your Favorite Restaurant at Home

Have you ever felt like enjoying a delicious meal from a local restaurant in the comfort of your own home? Perhaps you just finished working all day and cooking is the last thing you feel like doing, or just want some quiet time with your significant other. Choices to You is a Suwanee based restaurant delivery service that partners with Gwinnett area restaurants to bring you a variety of choices, delivered to your front door.
Owners Tom and Laura Vooris founded the company after using a similar service when Laura was pregnant with and after giving birth to triplets. According to Tom, “Many times when our triplets were little, my wife just didn’t have the time for cooking (nor did she feel up to it). And obviously we couldn’t go out, so it worked out great.” The triplets are now in high school and that company hasn’t existed for quite some time, but the couple loved the idea and wanted to bring that option to Gwinnett County residents.
The process is simple:
■ Visit their website: choicestoyou.com.
■ Put your zip code in to see the restaurant partners and select a
restaurant.
■ View the menu and place your order.
■ Check out online, and your food should arrive in about one hour.
When asked who their target customer was, Tom shared “Anyone that eats. Everyone at some point whether it be once a month or once a year, can’t cook or doesn’t want to cook and doesn’t want pizza or Chinese. They want the option to order something different. The service is especially useful for working families, company lunches, employees working late… we have even delivered to parks during sporting events.”
They have several regulars that order 2-3 times per week. You can also place your order days or weeks in advance if you know you won’t be able to cook one night. The delivery charge starts at $4.99 and is based on distance.
The Vooris’ have always had a passion for giving back to the community, and continue to do so through Choices to You. There is a “giving back” page on their website listing some of the organizations they serve and encouraging others to get involved. They also sponsor Suwanee Fest, Gwinnett Cornhole League, as well as several other area events and organizations.
Currently, Choices to You has over 30 restaurant partners and services Suwanee, Lawrenceville, Buford, Duluth, Snellville, and soon, the cities of Lilburn, Grayson and Norcross.
