Arts in the Park is set to take place on Saturday, May 13th from 10:00am to 5:00pm in Suwanee Town Center Park. The free, family-friendly event includes art in all forms, music and food. The festival showcases artists selected through a jury process and is a great place to find the perfect art for your home. Visitors will enjoy live art demonstrations and activities such as Paint-A-Wreck, Pollock Painting, Spin Art and Do-it-yourself Tie Dye Shirts. An award-winning Chalk Walk Competition takes place from 10:00am-3:00pm and is open to Elementary, Middle and High school students. Proceeds from Arts in the Park benefit the Rosemary Benavides Williams Student Art Scholarship.
