On June 4th, 2016 Guy Beck and Kelly Smith got married. Kelly walked down the aisle to her and Guy’s favorite rendition of “Over the Rainbow” and joined her husband on stage, along with only three other people: the Best Man, the Maid of Honor and their officiant. They exchanged beautiful vows and said their “I-do’s,” but as Guy Beck went in to kiss his new bride, people tasting beer erupted in cheers! This definitely was not a typical wedding. Guy Beck and Kelly Smith got married on stage during the 2nd Annual Gwinnett Beer Festival at the Gwinnett Braves stadium.

In a day filled with brews, tunes and overall festival fun, Beck and Smith had decided that as beer lovers themselves, they would love nothing more than to

share their special day with the people who love craft beer as much as they do. And, if getting married at a beer festival wasn’t special enough, they decided to make their wedding Hawaiian-themed. The stage was carefully decorated with a grass skirt, tiki torches, Hawaiian flowers, leis, boogie boards, and other décor fit for a luau. Guy and Kelly arrived in their Hawaiian finest, and the wedding took place right in the middle of the festival, at 2:30pm. “This is the coolest wedding I have ever seen…what a great idea!” said a festival attendee. It was truly a one-of-a-kind affair and will be a long-lasting memory
