Daddy O’Brien’s
Daddy O’Brien’s is the adult version of an ice cream shop. You see, Daddy O’Brien’s has mastered the art of boozy treats and serves up the ultimate combination: ice cream mixed with alcohol. The gourmet ice cream shop and pub specializes in alcohol-infused ice cream creations, including Bailey’s Irish Pistachio, Bourbon Butter Pecan, White Russian, Cherry Amaretto, and Drunken Oreo, made with Oreos and whipped cream vodka. Don’t worry, they have kid-friendly flavors, too, like chocolate brownie bite, orange creamsicle and strawberries ‘n cream. 5910 Suwanee Dam Road, Sugar Hill, 678-765-9633 DaddyOsIceCream.com

Planet Smoothie
Let’s be honest, nothing really hits the spot on a hot summer day quite like a refreshing smoothie — plus, they’re good for you! Made with fresh fruits and greens, Suwanee’s Planet Smoothie has a smoothie to satisfy every palate. Those looking for a health-conscious treat can try the Pineapple Tropi-Kale Twist, made with leafy greens, passion fruit, pineapple and almond milk. The kids will love the Captain Kid Jr., which is a simple but satisfying treat made with strawberries and orange sherbet. All of the smoothies are great, but this summer we’re loving the new boba-inspired creations. The Berry Poppin’ smoothie has strawberries, bananas, orange sherbet and mango boba, while the Bubble Trouble is packed with strawberries, mango, lemon juice, orange juice and mango boba. These smoothies are made even more refreshing with the addition of the mango boba, and are sure to keep you cool, calm and collected throughout the hot months. 320 Town Center Ave., Suwanee 770-945-8785, PlanetSmoothie.com
