Roberts Elementary School celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with their first school-wide service project. Through a grant from the Just Energy Foundation and Hands On Atlanta, they were able to build six garden beds and an outdoor classroom. With the help of over 70 volunteers including parents, students, staff, Principal Dr. Dion Jones’ fraternity brothers, and the Georgia Gwinnett College Soccer Team, the school has some amazing outdoor spaces to enjoy for many years to come! Each grade level now has its own garden bed to take care of throughout the school year.
