Spring is the perfect time to plan for the summer, which is why we dedicate space in our spring issue each year to highlighting local summer camps as well as overnight destination camps that cater to all of your child’s interests. From science and coding camps to camps that encourage your child’s interest in sports or the arts, our guide is a handy resource for keeping the kiddos active and engaged during summer break. Camp Success Summer Academy

Summer camp that keeps your kids sharp! Registration is now open for Camp Success Summer Academy — the only 3-Star Quality Rated program of its kind in Gwinnett County. Camp Success offers an hour of math and English Language Arts prep daily as well as enrichment in art, technology, centers, STEAM, gaming, PE and more!

Camp Woodmont

Imagine a camp where your child feels secure, welcome, and re-assured. That’s Camp Woodmont! Located in northwest Georgia, Camp Woodmont is a traditional overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 that features horseback riding, high-ropes/climbing, sports, dance, crafts, canoeing, archery and more! Club SciKidz Summer Camps

The best STEM camps start right here! Each summer, Club SciKidz offers more than 70 themed camps grades PK-8th. Join Eye Candy Art Studio for their summer art camp for a fun exploration through different art mediums, such as clay sculpture, glass fusion, tie-dye, canvas, pottery painting and much more! Forefront Arts Children’s Theatre

Calling all budding performers and kids and teens who love the spotlight! Gwinnett County Parks

Gwinnett County summer camps offer art, swimming, dance, games, outdoor exploration, water play, and more. Weekly themed camps include lunch and a snack and are CAPS approved for ages 5-13. Full and partial day and specialty camps; multiple locations. $50 holds your spot.

Enjoy Hands-On Learning This Summer at INK

Visit a hands-on learning environment at Interactive Neighborhood for Kids (INK) in Gainesville. Museum admission is $9/person and is good for one of the play time blocks. Check out their gift shop and pottery studio. INK offers scheduled group rates and birthday parties. Monday through Saturday with two-hour play time blocks: 10am-12pm, 12:30pm-2:30pm, and 3pm-5pm.Sunday with two-hour play time blocks: 12:30pm-2:30pm and 3pm-5pm.

Kids 4 Coding

Award-winning and nationally recognized Kids 4 Coding enters its 10th season with weekly fun, engaging, and collaborative on-campus programs for ages 7-14, grouped by age. Your princess will have a magical adventure beginning each day at the castle. You will delight in watching her twirl and dance with Miss Bernie, sing with Fairy Godmother, and create lovely crafts with Rainbow Fairy. The week concludes with a Royal Ball with parents as the honored guests.

Bodacious Burger Camp

Where campers will accept the challenge to be Bold, Brave and Bodacious as they explore their hidden potential through singing, dancing, acting, games, and some special sauce! An “All-Swim” for budding young artists ages 6-12, with no experience necessary. Campers will rotate between singing, dancing, acting, games, and a surprise session. Each day will end with time on stage. The week concludes with a performance on a real stage for family and friends.
