This past weekend I wore clothes I haven’t been able to fit into in over three years. I couldn’t believe it! Going shopping in your closet is such a great thing to do right now! It so affordable. 😉 I’ve been wanting to clean it out for a while but just couldn’t bring myself to do so because I kept thinking maybe I’ll lose the weight. Maybe this time I’ll stick with it and finally get things in order. I really thought before I started this challenge that I was never going to lose the weight or be fit again. I’m so grateful to Alicia and Suwanee Magazine for this opportunity — it is life-changing!
This past month I started a new job my days are long — 10 hours to be exact. Then I go to the gym and I have been getting home about 7:30. Then I walk the dogs with my best friend/neighbor Holly for about a 30-minute walk. I have to say I understand how and why people choose not to workout! It’s hard, and I’m tired but somehow I get myself in the gym and when I leave, even though it’s late, I’m glad I’ve gotten my workout in! My darling husband has been amazing helping me with dinner and feeding the dogs. Honestly I don’t know what I would do without him! I also want to say thank you to my coach Angie who has gone above and beyond to train myself and Bill!
