We’re about six weeks into the program, and this is where it starts getting hard to stay encouraged. The weight loss has slowed significantly, so I’m not seeing the results on the scale I’d like to see. However, I’m losing fat and gaining muscle according to the biometric device. Technology is my new friend. I’m also down a pant size and shirt size, so my friends should notice how svelte I’m becoming! Maybe I should keep that in manly terms … how buff I’m becoming!
The workouts are more tolerable, and I’m continuing with 5 a.m. sessions. Probably the biggest change I’ve noticed is that I’m mentally more alert. Hopefully that trend will continue. If it does, by the time I’ve dropped 100 pounds, I should be a genius!
